If you've been a long-time Family Of Five subscriber, you'll have noticed some changes in the RSS feed and on the site recently.
First - we've changed the name (and the domain) to familytastic.com. The reason for this is that we wanted to reach out to other parents and bloggers. We wanted to create a community of mums and dads and a place where we could share experiences and advice and the ups and downs of parenthood and family life.
Second - we've moved the site from WordPress to Drupal. Drupal is helping us to create a mini social network where you can write blogs, share pictures and create groups for people who share your interests.
We're going to start out with a couple of basic groups for mummy-bloggers and daddy-bloggers. Then we'll add groups that you want us to create - Breastfeeding, Parenting Teenagers, Healthy Cooking for your Family - all examples of groups that we can make available.
Now, we're not going to launch straight away, but we are looking for beta testers to help us shape the site - from logo to layout and the features we make available.
If you want to get involved, please drop me (Gerard) a line and we'll set you up with a basic account.
