I don't know what it is about the males in this family but they all seem to have overactive bowels.
Since my 2 year old Jay started on solid food he has graced us with at least four full nappies per day. Now that he is toilet trained nothing much has changed. The most awful thing is that since he eats such a lot of fruit and vegetables and drinks gallons of milk, water and fruit juice each day the poop not only comes regularly, but also very fast! (Sorry for the graphic detail!)
Today I heard a familiar yell from upstairs and bounded up to find him with his trousers half down and his underwear solied. There is nothing I hate more than trying to remove poo filled pants from a wriggling toddler. The stuff ended up everywhere, on me, on him, on the floor, on the toilet, DISGUSTING! I was very proud of myself though, despite wanting to vomit I remained patient and calm with my little boy who was obviously distressed and annoyed.
Baby D is now following in his brothers footsteps with four to five movements a day. The smell of his nappy/diaper each morning is enough to put me off my breakfast for at least an hour. He is literally one of those babies that you can smell before you can see.
I blame hubby for it all. Our upstairs bathroom is like a library, with books like 'The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families', 'The Chronicles Of Narnia' and'Fingerprints of the Gods' all sitting opened on the sink, in the bath and on the floor, just waiting for hubbys next trip. He makes these trips often throughout the day. Obviously there is something in his genes that has passed onto our sons. I only thank God that Ray seems to have missed out on this not so endearing trait!

My daughter was exactly the same until she was two. We ended up in the accident and emergency department of our hospital one afternoon it got so bad.
